About Sixems Centre

Sixems Prayer, Retreat and Conference Centre was born into the hearts of two Godly people, Revds. Eng. Sospeter and Canon Rosemary Mbogo. The Centre has been developed as a place for prayer, reflection and rest for both individuals, groups, and families, looking for a serene and quiet environment to meet with God.

Sixems started officially on November 2006, during the official groundbreaking. This is also when the ground on which the Centre sits was dedicated for development. The first residential block was opened on 19th December 2009 by the Rt. Rev. Henry Kathii, Bishop of Embu ACK Diocese. A second block was opened on 2nd august 2013 in a ceremony led by the Most Rev. Dr. Eliud Wabukala, the Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Kenya.
